Balmain XL Brush

mrH thought long and hard about who this brush should go to. It’s BIG, VERY BIG and is ideal for long lush locks that take a while to blow dry. The size and structure of the brush means that blow drying time can be reduced by up to 25% so ….. who do I know who likes a challenge and delivers great voluminous blow drying skills for their long hair clients.

I chose a young hairdresser called Poppy who works for a salon group in the North East called Deep Hairdressing.

She just happens to be my niece and her own hair always looks fabulous so I thought she would make the ideal reviewer for this rather magnificent brush from Balmain Hair Couture.

Here’s what she says:

“I saw this brush and told mrH I needed it. Seeing as how he is my (favourite) uncle I never thought he would send me it, but he did and I have been using it on my clients with long hair. It took a while to get used to it because it is a very large brush, the largest I have ever seen. I really enjoy blow drying hair and love a challenge when a client wants ¬†smooth mid lengths with waves or curls toward the ends and this brush is great for that type of style.

‘Once I got to grips with it it just felt like it was the right brush to use for creating curls and volume in long hair. Now it’s my go to brush as soon as a client with longer hair comes in. It’s a very professional looking hair brush and clients comment on it, one even asked if she could buy it off me. The brush is great for my own hair and I love using it to create lift and movement.

Thank you Uncle Emil (mrH) and thank you Balmain”.
